I09 has a great article on a section of Japan that is simply geek heaven. And when you’re talking Japan, that’s a tall order, considering there are lots of things to offer the common geek. But this is reminiscent of a William Gibson novel. I want to go! Although, I’m not sure how long I could live there. After all, this is a place where people pay money to see holograms perform. Although I guess we could probably debate how “real” actual pop stars are, considering, other people write their lyrics, dress them up, tell them how to dance, and nine times out of ten, they normally lip synch the words… so really what’s the difference?
