I’m not quite sure where you are while you’re reading this, but it’s day 4 of a very nasty heat wave where I am. The weatherman keeps saying it will get better, but a colleague of mine at my day job with insider information claims that it’s just a lie to keep us from going postal and killing each other. Let’s hope he’s wrong. My advice is; try to enjoy the heat. Pour yourself a cold mojito, and check this next track out. Here’s some very nice house with an old school underground vibe to it from Alex Jones, one of the founders of the Hypercolour label. Love the video here too, featuring all the crazy antics of Venice Beach circa 1985. Now those guys knew how to handle the heat. Lots of bikinis and breakdancing. Sweet.
