The eagerly anticipated 80s throwback Kung Fu cop flick Kung Fury just dropped today, and it’s glorious. Directed by David Sandberg, the crowd-funded film features a cop that doesn’t play by anyone’s rules who gets accidentally thrown back into time to fight Hitler. There are also dinosaurs. And vikings. And murderous, robotic video games that come to life. Teeming with old school references and awesome one-liners, this film encapsulates 80s pop culture cheese in the best way possible. Instead of suffering through the Rock’s latest effort in San Andreas for 20 bucks, watch this film for free below. It may be slightly silly and more than a tad cheesy, but (very) intentionally so. It’s also loads more fun.

Totally awesome! So cool of The Hoff to get on board as well. The effects, editing and 80’s authenticity in this is just so clever!
Well composed review, cheers! 🙂
