Van Orton Design Sets Sail. (Design/Environment)

A while back, DG profiled a stunning series of re-imagined posters for cult classic films from the 80s. The design team behind them are back with a completely different project that has translated digitized art into the natural world.

Van Orton (comprised of a set of twin brothers Stefano and Marco Schiavon, who hail from Turin, Italy), have teamed up with a racing team with a moniker appropriate for our prescient times. 11th Hour racing is hoping to raise awareness of the current perils facing our world’s oceans.  With a crack design team like Van Orton, it’s near impossible to ignore the magnificent results.
