It was on this day 10 years ago probably the best comedy science fiction writer in the history of the universe moved on from this world into the next. If you don’t know who Douglas Adams is, or have never read The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, today is the day you should pick it up from a shelf, borrow it from a friend, or steal it from a large chain bookstore. No matter what kind of day you’re having, it will make you laugh at how insignifigant we are as a species and how absurd life really is. Every now and then, it’s important to have perspective on the silliness of the human condition, and his books are a great reminder of it. Rest in Peace good sir, and remember, Don’t Panic.
A Salute to Douglas Adams.
