“Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
– Albert Einstein
Just a few minutes ago, I stumbled across an article that linked creativity with madness. It’s certainly not a new theory; I’ve had this conversation with many of my friends, and I’m not saying that the people featured in James Swirsky and Lisanne Pajot‘s new documentary Indie Game: The Movie are all nuts. But a little bit of crazy goes a long way in creative pursuits, and this film looks to expose how passion and dedication can sometimes seem obsessive and, well kray kray to the layman. Winner of the “World Cinema Documentary Editing Award” at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, and due for a worldwide release June 12. Check out the trailer below.
