Skagboys: New Irvine Welsh Novel Reunites Trainspotting Crew For a Prequel. (Books)

Scottish novelist Irvine Welsh just released a new book that’s a prequel to Trainspotting and it’s sequel Porno. The new novel follows the lives of Renton, Sick Boy , Begbie and Spud before they descend into the harrowing world of heroin addiction. Let’s hope either Porno or Skagboys make it into being films, and please can we get Danny Boyle to direct it too? That would be awesome! In the meantime, grab a copy of Skagboys at your local bookstore and go watch Trainspotting today. I know I’m going to.
