This actually just came out last week, I’m only now getting around to it. I got the chance to read the book from Irvine Welsh a couple years back. It’s a fun read, but let me just say the title is very apt; Filth will make you want to take several showers while reading it. I was kind of surprised they got James McAvoy to play the lead, but whatever; it’s kind of hard to hate on this guy with his constant mischievous shit eating grin. I just caught him in Danny Boyle‘s Trance last weekend, and he was really great. Go see that film as well if you can. Trailer is rated 18+ because of drug use and sex content, but I probably didn’t need to tell you that after you saw the poster above. Directed by Jon S Baird.
