Sometimes good things can actually come from the commercialization of music, apparently. While working on the campaign for a smartphone, remixer Sonjay Prabhakar stripped away at the 1977 original from Bowie’s seminal Low album. What’s left are the naked and very personal Bowie vocals and piano, producing an eerie, startling effect that can only be described as deeply beautiful. It may be the best thing you hear today.
