To coincide with his 66th birthday, David Bowie released a new track today. It’s called Where are we Now?, and finds Bowie wandering the streets of Berlin. The tone is unmistakingly melancholic, but rest assured – it’s really good, and there’s a lovely twist at the end making the whole journey worthwhile (reminiscent of Leonard Cohen‘s “there is a crack in anything, that’s how the light gets in” stuff) He’s planning on releasing a new album out in March. Directed by Tony Oursler.
