London based Carri Mundane is a fashion designer that’s worked with tons of peeps including musicians like M.I.A and Dizee Rascal to companies like Nike, Stussy and Nintendo. The fact that her fashion label known as Cassette Playa works closely with musicians hasn’t escaped her, as she feels her work “transforms their sounds into clothes”. Inspired by comic books, the internet, science fiction and video games, Mundane certainly seems to be doing something right; she has after all been nominated for Best Menswear Designer at the British Fashion Awards, and won Rolling Stone Magazine’s Best Fashion Designer.
