The holiday shopping season has begun with those oh so familiar anthems being pumped into all Western department stores, like oxygen is pumped into casinos in Nevada. If you can, I urge you to take a break; put down that toy made by a 15 year old boy in China at Walmart, and go over to Wired and read an interview with one of the most important visionaries of our day (at least Bill Gates seems to think so). He’s got lots of interesting things to say about manufacturing, energy, food production and Apple Computers. Check it out over here.
