Kung Fury is the brain child of Swedish director David Sandberg. It’s a glorious time capsule of some of the best elements that made the 80s what it was from a pop culture perspective. The film is almost entirely shot already. The next phase is an expensive round of post production wizardry, so they went to kickstarter for completion funding. Yesterday, they reached their goal. In fact, they have now surpassed it. The plan for the film, once completed, is to have it uploaded to the internet, for all to revel in it’s glory.
