Adam Lister studied art at the New York School of Visual Arts, and now calls Beacon, NY his home town. Did you know that Beacon was named to commemorate the historic beacon fires from the summit of the Fishkill Mountains to alert the Continental Army about British troop movements? Well, me neither. But that’s not important right now. What is important, is that Adam Lister makes super sweet 8 bit water colours of pop culture icons. The results look vaguely Cubist and Mondrian, but you know, kind of warmer and softer. Want to buy yourself a print? You can pick one up here.
