London Producer duo Snakehips dropped a teaser version of Forever on April 18. Ever since, I’ve been holding my breath and jonesing to hear the full version. Lucky for us, Majestic just threw down an extended mix two hours ago. It’s another glorious track with that classic signature style; a perfect blend of r&b and soul punctuated with hip hop flavour with a layer of that Snakehips 8bit glitch sample on top. This new version is still only clocking in at 2min.39sec, so it’s not as long as I’d like it to be, but make no mistake here: this is the 2014 summer anthem of 100% pure badassery. If you’re in the UK right now, you might be lucky enough to catch them live somewhere – they’re playing all over at clubs and festivals, but buy your tickets early as they tend to sell out – go here for dates and venues.
