As Toronto gears up for the G20 summit that has basically transformed the downtown core into a police state, I thought I would dedicate a post to politics. The following clip is a spoof on the advertisements that get American senators elected. Although it should be stated that Canada is not much better, after all we are a country who elected a Prime Minister for wearing a sweater vest.
Really though, this may just be an excuse I needed to throw up something from The Whitest Kids U’Know. Please check out some of their other clips. It’s a great bunch of talented young kids doing subversive, dark comedy in the tradition of The Kids In The Hall. It’s comedy that pushes the envelope, sometimes too far, but that’s part of the fun.
