AKA Peace :: Artists Transform AK 47 Killing Machines Into Art.

A recent exhibition curated by Jake Chapman took place in London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts. The concept, entitled AKA Peace was to get 23 artists from around the world to transform the iconic AK 47 machine gun into a symbol of peace. Artists included Damien Hirst, Antony Gormley and Jeremy Deller. Although the exhibition just ended, the auction for the pieces is today.
