Finally got a chance to catch Enter The Void a couple of days ago. I’ve been looking forward to it, ever since I saw the psychedelic trailer. I was not disappointed. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a real art film. It’s a beautiful technicolor dream set in Tokyo, with the reunion of an orphaned brother and sister as its premise. Gaspar Noé, no stranger to intensity and controversy (he directed Irreversible) takes us on a journey of sex, drugs and the loss of childhood innocense. David Lynch on DMT. A visual masterpiece.
