Cloud Atlas is a new film based on a book by British author David Mitchell. It’s directed by Andy and Lana (formerly Larry) Wachowski (The Matrix) and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run). If that isn’t reason enough to see the film – and it is for me, the film also stars Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant and Halle Berry along with many others. The plot sounds fascinating. Here’s the official synopsis:
“an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution.”
