Piet Mondrian Gets the Bikini Treatment. (Fashion)

Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter that lived in Paris, London and New York. Like most innovators and influencers, he was also way ahead of his time in terms of his painting style. He was part of the De Stijl movement and went on to coin the Neo-Plasticism style, that is painting only in grids of vertical and horizontal black lines and using only the three primary colours, which was pretty ballsy at the time.

And it looks like his legacy was referenced and influenced with the Mondrian Swimwear Collection by Sarah Schofield below. Love the eye makeup on the model too. Thanks to Laughing Squid for the link.
